Rodrigo Braga – A Brazilian Artist
This Brazilian artist took art to a totally new level. Firstly, he created a life-like replica of his own head!
Adding a Dog’s Head
He then made a silicon cast of a euthanized dog’s face!
Peng Shuilin was born in Hunan Province of China.
In 1995, in Shenzhen, a freight truck sliced his body in half. His lower body and legs were beyond repair. Surgeons sewed up his torso. At this stage, he measured just 78 cm!
Peng spent nearly two years in hospital in Shenzhen, undergoing a series of operations to re-route nearly every major organ or system inside his body.
As you can imagine, the pain and effort were excruciating, but this man didn’t know defeat and has an unbelievably positive attitude.
Peng kept exercising his arms, building up strength, washing his face and brushing his teeth. He survived against all odds. In fact, his recovery has amazed surgeons.
Then he decided to re-learn to walk, with only an upper body.
Doctors at the China Rehabilitation Research Centre in Beijing devised an ingenious way to allow him to walk on his own, creating a sophisticated egg cup-like casing to hold his body, with two bionic legs attached.
When he swings one side of the torso it causes that side leg to go forward, and the other to go back, allowing him to walk by moving his torso.
He’s doing well now and has opened his own bargain supermarket – called the Half Man-Half Price Store. That’s incredible.
He also visits hospitals and travels giving lectures on recovering from disabilities. He is a role model for the disabled, and amazing perspective for those of us who are incredibly fortunate.

When he arrived doctors told him they couldn't help save his manhood and ordered him to cycle back home to get the penis before he could be treated.
When Yang Hu, 26, eventually arrived back at the hospital with the severed member, doctors told him that it had been without blood for too long, and it was impossible to reattach it.
Yang's friends said that he had been increasingly depressed about the fact that since moving to the city he could not find a girlfriend.
What was worse, they said, was that he was doing such long hours in a clothing factory in Jiaxing, in Zhejiang province in east China, that he doubted he would ever have a chance to meet a woman.
His depression grew so bad that after returning home after work at 9pm on October 27 to his rented room he had suddenly decided to cut off his member as there was no use for it anyway, and believing it would stop him thinking about getting a girlfriend.
Incredibly he managed to cycle to the hospital, then cycled home again to collect the severed member and then back to the hospital.

His friends criticised doctors saying that had they provided the man with an ambulance he might have managed to get home quicker and his private parts could have been saved.

In Los Angeles, it was revealed that these sugar daddies spend $5,448 a month for their ladies. Although, Los Angeles moved three notches lower, from fifth to eight on the national sugar scale, with only 3.61 sugar daddies or 1,000 adult males. Atlanta came first with 5.98, followed by Scottsdale with 5.23, San Francisco with 4.94, Tampa with 4.48 and Boston with 4.29.
In Seattle, a sugar daddy averages 46 years old, and has an income of $348,021 a year and spends $4,983 a month on his sugar babies. In New York, the average sugar daddy ages 42 years old with an income of $524, 127. They spend $5, 692 per month on the ladies.
SugardaddyCanada.com, the largest “sugar daddy dating website” in Canada, determined the top hotspots of sugar daddies in the country.
Toronto became the top hotspot among sugar daddies, with 2 out of every 1,000 men became a sugar papa. Calgary came in second with 1.71 and Vancouver ranked third with 1.51. these men also spend the most in Calgary with $4,200 a month.

Making a list of your priorities is a great way to start. Being seven months pregnant, room service, swimming pool, massage and a large bed with extra pillows were at the top of my list.
Your next consideration should be 'where'. Depending where you're at in your pregnancy, you probably won't want to spend your whole Babymoon travelling to the destination. For anyone nearing the pointy end, it's probably also a good idea to be in driving distance to home or a hospital!

Plus, the discreet in-house lifts mean you can do it all in a bathrobe and slippers! My favourite extra: The Langham offers guests a generous pillow menu, including a pregnancy full body support pillow. Oh, and whatever you do, don't skip a dip in the gorgeous Grecian style swimming pool.

WHAT'S TO EAT? Dinner is served in the Galileo restaurant downstairs, or you can do as we did and opt for room service wheeled into your room, accompanied by polished silver and linen napkins. Breakfast is a sophisticated affair complete with beautiful rose covered China tea cups, and an assortment of fresh fruits, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, croissants and preserves.
HE SAYS: "Outstanding service from the staff: valet parking, good gym, harbour views and local to great pubs in The Rocks."

This place is foodie heaven. Situated on acres of green, luscious gardens and oodles of fresh sea air, Bells is a haven for expectant couples. The resort offers a range of private villas, each with their own secluded veranda with views over the lake and natural gardens. It's so quiet here you'll forget there are other people around. The East Hamptons-style villas are generous in size. The king size bed is lined with pillows and there's an enormous, deep bath in the centre of the bathroom that is definitely worth a test drive. You may need a hand getting out!
PAMPER: The day spa is an indulgence all on its own. Boasting the same Hamptons resort style white shutters, endless white towels and an extensive massage and facial menu using Bells own range of botanical products. I tried the hour long pregnancy massage that focused on feet, head, shoulders and lower back. The darkened room and piped music was particularly soothing.

HE SAYS: "Feels like being on the set of a James Bond movie. You can arrive by chopper, and drink in the old-school bar with a stack of newspapers and sport on demand."

Mashable was the first to report the issues, which included the “There was a problem updating your status. Please try again in a few minutes.” error popping up when users tried to update their statuses.
Facebook status update issues are not uncommon, according to Mashable, but this one seems global. The website claims to have tested Facebook from several IPs and received the same error message every time.
According to web service status tracker Downrightnow, Facebook is likely experiencing a service disruption.
Facebook did not immediately respond to Mashable’s requests for comment.

Backers of “e-cigarettes” argued that a new licensing system would reduce availability of a key weapon against smoking and would penalise firms with large costs.
The UK Government wanted tighter regulation of the tobacco-free products, which turn a solution containing nicotine into vapour which users “smoke” through a cylinder.
Critics fear they could “trick” young people into smoking. The Department of Health admitted it was disappointed the European Parliament had rejected stricter regulation and vowed to keep pressing for the devices to be treated like medicines.
The vote was the Parliament’s first on the draft EU Tobacco Directive which could become law next year and be implemented across Europe within two years.
There will now be more negotiations between the Parliament and EU member states to try to get agreement before next May’s European elections.
The UK’s medicines regulator has already said it wants e-cigs to be treated like other nicotine products to ensure their quality and content can be checked.
But British Lib Dem MEP Chris Davies welcomed the vote, saying: “E-cigs can be a game-changer in the fight against smoking.”
Tory MEP Martin Callanan said: “Forcing e-cigs off the shelves would have been totally crazy.”
MEPs dismayed campaigners by rejecting a ban on flavoured brands, such as menthol cigarettes.

While on tour a few nights ago at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA, singer Selena Gomez starts jumping during one of her songs and jumped right off the stage and into the audience. Thank goodness the stage was not high.
The dance mishap happens at about 3 1/2 minutes into the video. This lucky fan not only caught the singer having a bit of a problem on stage, but something else that no one has brought up…she wasn’t really singing!
